# Tomebound

> Tomebound helps people organize and track their Magic: The Gathering collections, decks, physical storage locations, and card values.

## Connect

- Hosted MCP: https://api.tomebound.app/mcp (Streamable HTTP).
- Use the server name `tomebound`. OAuth uses PKCE S256 and a Tomebound sign-in and consent page. Clients can use dynamic registration or supported HTTPS client metadata documents. Personal access tokens are available in Settings → Access tokens for headless clients.
- Start with `collection.read`. Request `collection.write` only when the user wants changes. Each account can access only its own collection.

## Main tools

- `get_collection_overview`: collection totals and organization.
- `query_collection`: filter inventory, containers, and history; find cards and their locations.
- `resolve_printing`: identify the exact Magic card printing.
- `validate_deck` and `card_allocation`: check deck rules and compare owned copies with deck claims.
- `card_prices` and `collection_value`: review card prices and collection value.
- `mutate_inventory`: preview and apply collection changes. Show users the preview before applying.
- `undo_last_mcp_change`: undo the latest agent change when it is safe.
- `list_mcp_recovery_points` and `restore_mcp_recovery_point`: recover a saved collection state.

Deletes and changes affecting more than 25 rows require a matching preview token. Successful agent changes preserve recovery points. Use tools/list to discover the tools available to the signed-in account and its granted scopes.
