Tomebound

Tomebound is a free Magic: The Gathering collection manager. It tracks every card you own, where it is stored, and what it is worth.

Tomebound tracks what you actually own — every printing, finish, condition, and where it lives — across your trade binders, decks, and storage.

Yours, not ours

Your collection is data you own, not content we hold. Leaving should always be easy — that's what makes staying an honest choice.

  • Import from Moxfield, ManaBox, Deckbox, TCGplayer and more; printings are resolved for you on the way in. See the import guide.
  • Export everything, any time — a portable file, not a support ticket.
  • Automated daily backups, kept for 90 days.
  • Every edit lands in an undo history, and AI-applied changes get a recovery point before they touch anything.

Five ways in

The website is the whole product for most people. But the same collection also answers to chat inside the app, to your AI assistant over MCP, to a real CLI, and to plain import/export. Use one or all five — the ones you ignore stay invisible.

$ npm install -g tomebound
$ tomebound login && tomebound summary

MCP endpoint: https://api.tomebound.app/mcp — OAuth'd and permissioned. Removals and changes of more than 25 rows must be previewed first, and every applied change gets a recovery point.

Works with your AI agent

Connect your saved collection to ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Claude Code, OpenClaw, or another compatible MCP client. Ask what you own, find cards across your containers, check a deck, or estimate your collection's value.

Start with read access and approve write access when you want changes. Removals and changes of more than 25 rows need a preview; applied MCP changes have recovery points. You can revoke a connection in Settings → Connected apps.

Card, printing and deck names are matched exactly; a near miss comes back as suggestions, never a guess.

A view that holds its shape

Flip between binder pages and a dense table without losing your place. Pick the visible fields, resize columns, filter by set, color, rarity, finish, price, tags, or format legality — then save the view settings so the app always opens the way you left it.

  • Bulk-select any filtered slice and move, tag, or correct it in one pass.
  • Printing-aware prices and a running total for whatever's on screen.
  • Containers, binders, and decks organize cards without duplicating inventory.

Share exactly what you choose

Hand anyone a read-only link to a binder, a deck, or the whole collection — it opens signed-out, in any browser. You decide how much a link reveals, and revoking it kills it instantly.

Trading at the table: put your cards next to theirs, watch the two totals balance, and complete the swap straight into your collection, with one undo if you change your mind.

Plain facts

Scale
